An immersive show in the public space of Saint-Denis that features stories of migration, resilience, and hope told by local women.
SPACES: Women's Voices is a poetic stroll born out of the encounter between residents of Saint-Denis and the 93rd arrondissement, and Saint-Denis artists—musicians, singers, and dancers.
Together, they speak out, taking over the spaces that are dear to them and placing there their stories, struggles, and hopes. Guided by dance and music, local women recount the origins of their exile, their daily lives in Saint-Denis, and the dreams they have never ceased to hold. Set against the backdrop of their own city, their stories resonate in the spaces around them, as their journey traverses the streets and emblematic sites of Saint-Denis—from Théâtre Gérard Philipe to the Basilica—and transforms the city into a living stage.
