An immersive show in the public space of Saint-Denis that features stories of migration, resilience, and hope told by local women. A poetic promenade perfromance born out of the encounter between residents of Saint-Denis and the 93 department, and Saint-Denis based artists—musicians, singers and dancers.
An immersive experience that brings to life the blend of cultures that make the city of Saint-Denis in the Métropole of Grand Paris. Audience members are guided in groups by silent dancers on a musical and dance journey that starts at the Halle du Marché and finishes at the Basilica of Saint-Denis.
Presented in Oakland’s historic downtown in July 2021, SPACES took over the Oakland City Hall and the Frank H. Ogawa Plaza and invited participants to inhabit in a new way these symbols of government that have shaped today’s urban space and life. Drawing from California’s history and Oakland’s multiculturalism, Oaklanders share personal stories that reflect the rich social and cultural fabric of an increasingly gentrified and culturally diverse city.
An immersive experience that highlighted the history, beauty and hope of the historic neighborhood of Harlem, combining dance, theater, music, and video. In June 2017, lcal residents were invited at the gorgeous Mount Morris Ascension Presbyterian Church in the heart of Harlem to recount personal stories about the place they call home.
An interactive multimedia installation and performance that blends technology and the arts into a participatory experience, presented simultaneously in September 2018 at The Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose CA (later The Tech Interactive) and the Cubbon Park Metro Station in Bangalore, India.
The first iteration of DATAPRINT was featured in a work-in-progress presentation at the Cubbon Park Metro Station in the center of Bangalore, as part of The Festival of Stories in December 2016. Kaimera Productions partnered with the Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology in Bangalore, India, to train fifteen undergraduate students over the course of one month and begin together the development of various elements of DATAPRINT.
A multi-disciplinary performance piece honoring the lives of individuals killed in conflict. A work-in-progress presentation LaGuardia Performing Arts Center in New York City in 2017 served as the laboratory for Kaimera’s curatorial team and their global partners to test the piece’s format, structure, drafting process, design and presentation approach.
An immersive experience commissioned by OuiShare for the fourth annual OuiShare Fest, Paris, in 2016. Selected audience members were invited to take part in short pop-up performances taking place throughout the festival grounds. The performances are inspired by the themes of the festival, as well as Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's iconic book The Little Prince.
