Mélanie Esther Dorey

Mélanie Esther Dorey is an immersive experience designer and communications consultant based in Paris. For over ten years, she has created participatory performances and events in Paris, New York, San Francisco and Berlin. Her work brings together theatre and performance art, with a particular interest in the choices audiences make and the relationships that form through an experience.

Alongside her artistic practice, Mélanie has worked in communications for cultural organizations, developing editorial strategies, visual identities and social media content. She led communications for theatre company Libre Acteur and was head of communications at Galerie La Forest Divonne Paris-Brussels. As a freelancer, she has also worked with artists from the theatre and cinema industry.

Mélanie has collaborated with Kaimera as an assistant director and facilitator. She now supports the company’s social media communications, bringing her experience of making immersive work to the way its creative process is shared with audiences.
