The Flying Ace and the Storm of the Century! is an interactive show for young audiences that takes viewers on a thrilling adventure. The story opens with a devastating hurricane striking a coastal town. In the midst of this storm, the Dog—loosely based on Snoopy—finds himself lost in the middle of the ocean. Armed with his typewriter and his boundless imagination, he summons his longtime hero: the Flying Ace. Together, they come up with wacky and poetic solutions to find their way back to dry land. The Boy, his young owner, who has remained in the damaged city, tries to find him, while the Girl with the Megaphone invites the audience to come together to face the disaster. Young audience members themselves become actors in the story: gathered together, they come up with solutions to rebuild the city and dream together of a future built on solidarity.
The show addresses the challenges of the climate crisis with humor and poetry. Amid bursts of laughter, thrills, and moments of poetry, it invites young people to imagine together how to adapt to face the very real storms shaking our planet. The adventure thus becomes a call to collective action, driven by the conviction that resilience and creativity can help us meet one of the greatest challenges of our time.
