
Hannah Angely

Originally from France, Hannah Angely graduated from UC Berkeley and Sciences Po Paris with a double bachelor in political sciences and political economy. After working as a project manager for the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in San Francisco, she took the head of the French American Cultural Society, the cultural partner foundation of the French Embassy, to develop the first French artistic residency in the US, Villa San Francisco, perpetuating the French tradition of Villa Medici (Rome) and Villa Kujoyama (Kyoto). The residence focuses on creating a dialogue between the artists and society. In 2020, she created Echos Libres, a cultural production company, working on cultural collaborations and projects between France and the US.
