Our SPACES: Saint-Denis/Oakland, developed with the communities of Saint-Denis (France) and Oakland (USA), is part of the Oakland/Saint-Denis Cooperation Project, initiated by the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the United States. The Project organized two learning expeditions at the end of 2019, successively in Saint-Denis and in Oakland, which brought together French and American urbanists, artists, architects, scholars, and urban planners. Simón was invited to the Saint-Denis expedition to facilitate an interactive workshop on the use of storytelling for community engagement.
