Filming in Louisiana for COP30

Jonathan and Lauren spent three days in Southern Louisiana with the Isle de Jean Charles Choctaw Nation (IDJCN), the first officially recognized climate refugees in the U.S., to capture footage for a video that will be presented at COP30 in Belém, Brazil, as part of the Vital Signs of the Planet concert. During the visit, the team interviewed tribal members and documented cultural traditions the IDJCN are working to protect in the face of forced relocation. All footage is now under the tribe’s ownership and will support their ongoing efforts to preserve their identity and heritage.
