ERIC BONNET
Treasurer / Trésorier
🇬🇧 Eric comes from a family whose roots come from an ethnic minority called Taï-Dam, which settled in Laos. He grew up in the Parisian suburbs among Caribbean, African, and Arabic communities, and is grateful that his upbringing stems from such a diverse, multicultural environment.
He has a degree in electronic engineering, and is now working in the biggest French science university Sorbonne Université as an IT engineer. In his role, he helps make web applications that make research easier and assist laboratories in functioning more efficiently. Eric is passionate about music and traveling (by bike!). He aspires to be part of a movement to give back to the community in the suburbs. He lives in Pantin, France.
🇫🇷 Eric est issue d’une minorité ethnique proche de la culture laotienne, les Taï-Dam. Il a grandi dans la banlieue parisienne au milieu de communautés antillaise, africaine et arabe. Il est reconnaissant d’avoir grandi dans un environnement aussi divers que multiculturel.
Il est ingénieur en électronique du CNAM et travaille dans la plus grande université française, Sorbonne Université, en tant qu’ingénieur en informatique. Son activité consiste à fournir des services informatiques pour faciliter la recherche universitaire et assister les laboratoires afin qu’ils fonctionnent plus efficacement. Eric est passionné de musique et de voyages (à vélo!). Il aimerait rendre ce que la communauté en banlieue lui a donné. Il vit à Pantin, France.
